			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Volgend jaar februari organiseert EURIB &#8211; European Institute for Branding Management- een driedaagse opleiding over de inzet van sociale media voor merkcommunicatie.  Deze cursus vindt plaats op 4,5 en 6 februari volgend jaar. Naast -ondermeer- Yme Bosma van Hyves, Rocco Stallvord van (inmiddels) <a title="First" href="http://www.wearefirst.nl/" target="_self">First</a> en Pieter Waller van Bacardi ben ik 1 van de docenten.</p>
<p>Mijn programmaonderdeel zal gaan over hoe merken structureel onderdeel kunnen uitmaken van het dagelijkse (media)leven van consumenten. &#8216;Branding through social media&#8217; is samengesteld door Rik Riezobos, Michiel Noij (beide EURIB) en Ingmar de Lange. <p class="Normaal">Afgelopen vrijdag was er een HYVES-bijeenkomst op <a href="http://www.picnicnetwork.org/">PICNIC</a>, het internationale congres over cross media in Amsterdam. Marc de Vries, de CEO, vertelde over de enorme groei van <a href="http://www.hyves.nl/">HYVES</a> de afgelopen 12 maanden. Inmiddels komt meer dan 1 op de 10 internetminuten in Nederland voor rekening van dit sociale netwerk. Verder lopen de hoeveelheid ‘tikken’, ‘krabbels’ en ‘wie wat waar-tjes’ per seconde in de duizenden en is het personeelsbestand in 12 maanden verdrievoudigd.<span id="more-344"></span></p>
<p class="Normaal">Daarna presenteerde <a href="http://www.yme.nl/ymerce/">Yme Bosma</a>, verantwoordelijk voor business <span lang="EN-GB">development,</span> welke nieuwe ontwikkelingen er aankomen. Vooral de mobiele applicatie van HYVES ziet er veel belovend uit. Er zijn nu al ca. 300.000 mobiele HYVERS via de browser, maar dat zal de komende tijd wel fors stijgen als locatie gebaseerde diensten en andere nieuwe functionaliteiten worden uitgerold. Verder vertelde Yme over de ontwikkelingen rond video en <a href="http://www.slideshare.net/Frankwatching/van-hyves-naar-tv-van-tv-naar-hyves">TV</a> en ‘open social’, een internationale standaard om externe partijen toegang te geven tot HYVES en die HYVES in staat stelt hun vriendenfilter los te laten op externe (content) sites.</p>

<p class="Normaal">Vervolgens mocht ik iets vertellen over het meten van het reclame-effect van online. HYVES is namelijk hard bezig om samen met een aantal grote adverteerders naast bereik en clicks, ook de effecten van sociale media te meten op zaken als reclame-, naams-, propositiebekendheid en koopintentie.</p>
<p class="Normaal">Daarnaast heb ik laten zien hoe <a href="http://jeroendebakker.com/2008/07/17/flaoten-dat-zouden-meer-merken-moeten-doen/">sommige adverteerders</a> slim gebruik maken van het virale effect van HYVES. Hierdoor worden commerciële boodschappen door consumenten doorgegeven aan andere consumenten. Amerikaans onderzoek heeft aangetoond dat dit netwerk-effect kan leiden tot +70% meer reclame-effect. Welke adverteerder wil dat nu niet?!?</p>
<p class="Normaal">Na wat lekkere happen en een gezellige borrel ging HYVES@PICNIC over in het sluitingsfeest van dit jaarlijkse cross media evenement. Dit heb ik echter niet meer meegemaakt, ik moest nog even naar de verjaardag van mijn vader.</p>
